Candace Chisholm (Carlyle, SK) won 6-4 over Michelle Englot (Regina, SK) in the Final of the Highland SWCT Event, held September 28 - 30, 2018 in Regina, Saskatchewan. To advance to the championship game, Chisholm won 6-2 over Brett Barber (Biggar, SK) in the semifinals of the 2018 Highland SWCT Event in Regina, Saskatchewan; and won 6-3 over Penny Barker (Regina, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 Highland SWCT Event in Regina, Saskatchewan;
 
Chisholm finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Chisholm defeated Rachel Erickson (Regina, SK) 7-1, then won 7-0 against Cassidy Regush (Regina, SK). Chisholm went on to lose 5-1 against Kim Schneider (Kronau, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Highland SWCT Event Championship title, Chisholm earned 21.565 world rankings points along with the $1,600CDN first prize cheque, moving up 21 spots the World Ranking Standings into 57th place overall with 60.894 total points. Chisholm ranks 45th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 21.565 points earned so far this season.
