Thevenot finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Thevenot defeated Rachel Fritzler (Moose Jaw, SK) 10-1, then won 5-3 against Brett Barber (Biggar, SK) and 8-3 against Stasia Wisniewski (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Regina Callie Rockoberfest Championship title, Thevenot earned 19.906 world rankings points along with the $1,900CDN first prize cheque, moving up 69 spots the World Ranking Standings into 113th place overall with 26.065 total points.
