Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, CAN) finished 4-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) 10-1, then won 4-1 against Yilun Jiang (Harbin, CHN) and 8-7 against Nina Roth (Chaska, USA). Jones won 7-6 against Fujisawa. Jones went on to lose 7-4 against Jiang. Jones lost 6-5 to Roth in their final qualifying round match.
