Rebecca Morrison (Stirling, SCO) finished 1-4 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Morrison lost 8-3 to Robin Brydone (Stirling, SCO), droppimg another game, 7-4 to Andrew Woolston (Kent, ENG) where Morrison responded with a 7-5 win over Garry Coombs (Hawarden, WAL). Morrison went on to lose 6-3 against Grant Barr (Perth, SCO). Morrison lost 6-5 to Andrew Reed (Kent, ENG) in their final qualifying round match.
