Quebec's Jim Ursel won 9-4 against Prince Edward Island's John Fortier, then won 8-5 against Nova Scotia's Richard Boyce and 12-6 against New Brunswick's John Clark. Quebec's Jim Ursel won 7-6 against Ontario's Alex Scott. Quebec's Jim Ursel went on to lose 10-8 against Northern Ontario's Bill Tetley. Quebec's Jim Ursel lost 10-4 to Yukon/N.W.T.'s Don Twa in their final qualifying round match.
