Kyler Kurina (Lethbridge, AB) won 6-5 over Max Kobylnyk (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Okotoks U18 Mens Bonspiel, held November 17 - 18, 2018 in Okotoks, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Kurina won 4-1 over Chris Louie (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals

Kurina finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kurina defeated Michael Keenan (Black Diamond, AB) 7-1, then won 5-4 against Aaron Power (Edmonton, AB) and 8-4 against Kenan Wipf (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 14 of the event schedule, Kurina did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kurina ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
