Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN) finished 5-1 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Liu defeated Min Ji Kim (Chuncheon City, KOR) 6-5, then won 25-0 against Mubarkah Al-Abdulla (Doha, QAT) and 9-0 against Sitora Alliyarova (Almaty, KAZ). Liu won 12-3 against Ling-Yue Hung (Hong Kong, HKG), then won 12-1 against Tahli Gill (Brisbane, AUS). Liu went on to lose 8-7 against Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
