To advance to the championship game, Kiist won 6-4 over Hannah Northwood (Airdrie, AB) in the semifinals of the 2018 Airdrie U15 Junior Spiel in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada;
 
Kiist finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kiist defeated Allie Iskiw (Edmonton, AB) 9-3, then won 9-1 against Brianna Clay (Airdrie, AB) and 12-1 against Tyson Ballance (Calgary, AB). Kiist won 12-6 against Candace Bienert (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
