Graeme Weagle (Chester, NS) won 6-3 over Mitchell Cortello (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the Oak Island Junior Mens Cashspiel, held November 9 - 11, 2018 in Chester, Nova Scotia. To advance to the championship game, Weagle won 5-4 over Matthew Manuel (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals
 
Weagle finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Weagle lost 8-6 to Coady Lewis (Moncton, NB), then responded with a 7-6 win over Tyler Smith (Charlottetown, PEI). Weagle won 7-4 against Alex Ouellette (Halifax, NS), then won 8-3 against Chase MacMillan (Charlottetown, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.
