Crete finished 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Crete defeated Benoit Gagne (Montreal, QC) 5-2, then won 9-6 against Frederic Lawton (Montreal, QC) and 8-7 against Steven Munroe (Levis, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
