To advance to the championship game, Bakos won 9-2 over Subasthika Thangadurai (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2018 Crestwood U18 Juvenile Womens Bonspiel in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada;
 
Bakos finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bakos lost 8-1 to Alyssa Nedohin (Sherwood Park, AB), then responded with a 10-2 win over Anna Smith (St. Albert, AB). Bakos won 7-2 against Rachel Jacques (Edmonton, AB), then won 8-2 against Ava Plett (Carstairs, AB) and 8-7 against Jessica Wytrychowski (Airdrie, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
