In their opening game, Tanner defeated Sara Haidinger (Kitzbuehel, AUT) 11-5, then won 12-2 against Liza Gregori (Jesenice, SLO). Tanner went on to lose 5-4 against Mia Hoehne (Fuessen, GER). Tanner responded with a 6-5 win over Xenia Schwaller (Baden, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
