Sarah Daniels (Delta, BC) finished 2-2 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Daniels defeated Kayte Gyles (New Westminster, BC) 9-1, then won 6-5 against Karla Thompson (Kamloops, BC). Daniels went on to lose 11-0 against Lindsay Hudyma (Vancouver, BC). Daniels lost 10-7 to Brette Richards (Kelowna, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Daniels earned 1.484 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
