Rob Dennis (Richmond, BC) finished 2-3 in the 11-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dennis lost 10-6 to Brad Rebman (Surrey, BC), droppimg another game, 9-0 to Tyler Klymchuk (New Westminster, BC) where Dennis responded with a 12-6 win over Shane Bourdage (Richmond, BC). Dennis won 8-4 against Rebman. Dennis went on to lose 7-5 against Klymchuk in their final qualifying round match.

Dennis earned 1.036 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Dennis did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Dennis ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
