Funk won 8-3 against Rick Phillips (Red Deer, AB). Funk went on to lose 8-6 against Thomas Usselman (Rocky Mountain House, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Funk earned 1.266 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 22 of the event schedule, Funk did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Funk ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
