Hopson lost 6-1 to Kaitlin Jewer (Lindsay, ON) where Hopson responded with a 6-3 win over Wasylkiw. Hopson won 7-5 against Sherry Middaugh (Thornhill, ON), then won 6-5 against Jewer. Hopson went on to lose 8-5 against Cathy Auld (Kingston, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Hopson earned 5.269 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 21 of the event schedule, Hopson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hopson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
