Galkina won 6-4 against Ekaterina Kungurova (Novosibirsk, RUS), then won 7-4 against Evgenia Mamykina (Moscow, RUS) and 5-3 against Ekaterina Telnova (Moscow, RUS). Galkina won 5-4 against Ksenia Novikova (Moscow, RUS) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Russian Curling Cup, Galkina take home 13.939 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN prize. For week 20 of the event schedule, Galkina did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
