In their opening game, Brunton defeated Alyssa Denyer (Sudbury, NONT) 8-1, then won 7-3 against Bella Croisier (Sudbury, NONT). Brunton went on to lose 6-5 against Denyer. Brunton responded with a 8-7 win over Croisier in their final qualifying round match.
