To advance to the championship game, Sturmay won 8-7 over Jessica Wytrychowski (Airdrie, AB) in the semifinals of the 2019 Alberta Junior Provincials in Okotoks, Alberta;
 
Sturmay finished 4-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sturmay defeated Ryleigh Bakker (Calgary, AB) 10-0, then went on to lose 8-4 against Skrlik. Sturmay responded with a 7-5 win over Veronica Maschmeyer (Edmonton, AB). Sturmay went on to lose 11-1 against Wytrychowski. Sturmay responded with a 9-6 win over Kathryn Lepine (Calgary, AB). Sturmay won 7-6 against Catherine Clifford (Edmonton, AB). Sturmay went on to lose 6-5 against Zoe Cinnamon (Cochrane, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 21 of the event schedule, Sturmay did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sturmay ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
