Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) won 5-2 over Fredrik Nyman (Stockholm, SWE) in the Final of the Swedish Championship, held January 2 - 6, 2019 in Jonkoping, Sweden. To advance to the championship game, Edin won 9-2 over Cameron Bryce (Skelleftea, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2019 Swedish Championship in Jonkoping, Sweden; and won 6-1 over Anders Kraupp (Stocksund, SWE) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Swedish Championship in Jonkoping, Sweden;

Edin finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Edin defeated Kraupp 11-3, then won 9-2 against Goran Carlsson (Linkoping, SWE) and 9-4 against Nyman in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Swedish Championship Championship title, Edin earned 27.574 world rankings points, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 2.688 after improving upon their best so far this season. Edin ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 318.260 points earned so far this season.
