McCloskey went on to lose 8-1 against Melissa Morrow (Summerside, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.

McCloskey earned 0.338 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 286th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 0.193 after improving upon their best so far this season. McCloskey ranks 281st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.338 points earned so far this season.
