After advancing directly to the championship game, Annmarie Dubberstein (Portage, WI) lost 6-5 to Cait Flannery (Mankato, MN) in the Final of the USA Curling Junior Nationals Championship, held January 13 - 19, 2019 in Two Harbors, Minnesota.
 
Dubberstein finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dubberstein defeated Elizabeth Cousins (Medfield, MA) 8-7, then won 8-7 against Ariel Traxler (Fairbanks, AK) and 8-3 against Samantha Jones (Endeavor, WI). Dubberstein won 8-5 against Flannery, then won 9-6 against Abbey Kitchens (Devils Lake, ND). Dubberstein went on to lose 7-6 against Suzanna Viau (Plover, WI). Dubberstein responded with a 10-1 win over Mackenzie Page (Burnsville, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the USA Curling Junior Nationals Championship, Dubberstein take home 14.108 world rankings points. For week 23 of the event schedule, Dubberstein did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Dubberstein ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
