Andrew McDonald (Hudson, OH) run at the 2019 USA Curling Junior Nationals Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 5-4 loss to Skyler Slusar (Hallock, MN). of the 2019 USA Curling Junior Nationals Championship in Two Harbors, Minnesota;

McDonald finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McDonald defeated Kevin Tuma (St. Paul, MN) 10-9, then won 8-7 against Tyler Hipke (Wauwatosa, WI) and 8-4 against Chase Sinnett (Medfield, MA). McDonald won 10-5 against Wesley Wendling (Wausau, WI). McDonald went on to lose 8-7 against Andrew Stopera (Briarcliff Manor, NY). McDonald responded with a 6-1 win over Charlie Thompson (Eau Claire, WI). McDonald won 8-3 against Slusar in their final qualifying round match.

McDonald earned 9.993 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the USA Curling Junior Nationals Championship. For week 23 of the event schedule, McDonald did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McDonald ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
