Roy won 7-4 against Steven Munroe (Levis, QC), then won 11-4 against Martin Ferland (Trois-Rivieres, QC) and 7-5 against Michael Fournier (Montreal, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

Roy earned 10.929 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Quebec WFG Tankard. Roy move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 5.449 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 36th overall with 108.493 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
