Martin Crete (Levis, QC) won 8-7 over Michael Fournier (Montreal, QC) in the Final of the Quebec WFG Tankard, held January 13 - 19, 2019 in Shawinigan, Quebec. To advance to the championship game, Crete won 7-6 over Jean-Sebastien Roy (Saguenay, QC) in the semifinals of the 2019 Quebec WFG Tankard in Shawinigan, Quebec;
 
Crete finished 7-2 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Crete defeated Mark Homan (Des Collines, QC) 11-5, then won 10-2 against Steve Holdaway (Montreal, QC) and 11-3 against Alek Bedard (Boucherville, QC). Crete won 10-9 against Francois Gagne (Montreal, QC), then won 10-0 against Stephane Michaud (Trois-Rivieres, QC). Crete went on to lose 6-5 against Roy. Crete responded with a 10-6 win over Martin Ferland (Trois-Rivieres, QC). Crete went on to lose 7-4 against Fournier. Crete responded with a 8-2 win over Steven Munroe (Levis, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Quebec WFG Tankard Championship title, Crete earned 19.286 world rankings points. For week 23 of the event schedule, Crete did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Crete ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
