Fournier finished 8-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fournier defeated Steven Munroe (Levis, QC) 8-5, then won 8-5 against John Stewart (Valleyfield, QC) and 10-3 against Jeffrey Stewart (Montreal, QC). Fournier won 10-3 against Yannick Martel (Saguenay, QC), then won 11-3 against Scott Hill (Ormstown, QC) and 8-2 against Martin Ferland (Trois-Rivieres, QC). Fournier won 9-7 against Mark Homan (Des Collines, QC), then won 7-4 against Crete. Fournier went on to lose 7-5 against Jean-Sebastien Roy (Saguenay, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Quebec WFG Tankard, Fournier take home 14.143 world rankings points. For week 23 of the event schedule, Fournier did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Fournier ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
