Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC) won 7-5 over JT Ryan (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final Tardi advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the New Holland Canadian Junior Mens Championship, held January 19 - 27, 2019 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
 
Tardi finished 9-1 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tardi defeated Trygg Jensen (Whitehorse, YK) 10-2, then won 14-1 against Javen Komaksiutiksak (Iqaluit, NU) and 5-3 against Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK). Tardi won 12-4 against Greg Blyde (St. John's, NL), then won 12-2 against Sam Steep (Galt, ON) and 9-6 against Desmond Young (Edmonton, AB). Tardi won 6-2 against Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT). Tardi went on to lose 7-4 against Ryan. Tardi responded with a 6-4 win over Vincent Roberge (Levis, QC). Tardi won 7-3 against Graeme Weagle (Chester, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the New Holland Canadian Junior Mens Championship Championship title, Tardi earned 23.841 world rankings points. For week 24 of the event schedule, Tardi did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tardi ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
