Tardi won 12-4 against Greg Blyde (St. John's, NL), then won 12-2 against Sam Steep (Galt, ON) and 9-6 against Desmond Young (Edmonton, AB). Tardi won 6-2 against Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT). Tardi went on to lose 7-4 against Ryan. Tardi responded with a 6-4 win over Vincent Roberge (Levis, QC). Tardi won 7-3 against Graeme Weagle (Chester, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
