Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) finished 6-4 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Horgan defeated Graeme Weagle (Chester, NS) 7-6, then won 7-6 against Tyler Smith (Charlottetown, PEI). Horgan went on to lose 11-7 against Jack Smeltzer (Fredericton, NB). Horgan lost 8-3 to Vincent Roberge (Levis, QC) where Horgan responded with a 16-3 win over Sawer Kaeser (Fort Smith, NT). Horgan won 7-4 against JT Ryan (Winnipeg, MB). Horgan went on to lose 6-2 against Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC). Horgan lost 7-6 to Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) where Horgan responded with a 9-6 win over Desmond Young (Edmonton, AB). Horgan won 9-5 against Greg Blyde (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

Horgan earned 7.152 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Horgan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Horgan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
