Horgan went on to lose 6-2 against Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC). Horgan lost 7-6 to Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) where Horgan responded with a 9-6 win over Desmond Young (Edmonton, AB). Horgan won 9-5 against Greg Blyde (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Horgan earned 7.152 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Horgan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
