Sawer Kaeser (Fort Smith, NT) finished 1-8 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kaeser lost 7-2 to Jack Smeltzer (Fredericton, NB), droppimg another game, 9-2 to JT Ryan (Winnipeg, MB). Kaeser lost 11-2 to Vincent Roberge (Levis, QC). Kaeser lost 12-3 to Graeme Weagle (Chester, NS). Kaeser lost 13-4 to Tyler Smith (Charlottetown, PEI). Kaeser lost 16-3 to Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) where Kaeser responded with a 8-5 win over Javen Komaksiutiksak (Iqaluit, NU). Kaeser went on to lose 6-3 against Trygg Jensen (Whitehorse, YK). Kaeser lost 9-3 to Sam Steep (Galt, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Kaeser earned 1.192 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Kaeser did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kaeser ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
