10-9 to Borys Jasiecki (Sopot, POL), droppimg another game, 11-4 to SooHyuk Kim (Seoul, KOR). Mello lost 10-3 to Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED). Mello lost 9-3 to Scott Becker (Naseby, NZL). Mello lost 12-2 to Andrew Reed (Kent, ENG) where Mello responded with a 11-5 win over Ulrik Damm (Hvidovre, DEN). Mello went on to lose 12-2 against Ian Palangio (Sydney, AUS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Mello earned 0.675 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Mello did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Mello ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
