Marta Pluta (Gilwice, POL) finished 2-5 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pluta lost 11-5 to Dorottya Palancsa (Budapest, HUN), droppimg another game, 9-7 to Ling-Yue Hung (Hong Kong, HKG) where Pluta responded with a 6-5 win over Anne Shibuya (Sao Paolo, BRZ). Pluta went on to lose 9-4 against Oona Kauste (Aland, FIN). Pluta lost 15-5 to Marie Turmann (Tallinn, EST). Pluta lost 9-3 to Jie Mei (Beijing, CHN) where Pluta responded with a 10-9 win over Bridget Becker (Naseby, NZL) in their final qualifying round match.

Pluta earned 2.565 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Pluta did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
