Mary-Anne Arsenault (Dartmouth, NS) lost 6-5 to Jill Brothers (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the Nova Scotia Scotties, held January 21 - 27, 2019 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. To advance to the championship game, Arsenault won 8-6 over Kristen MacDiarmid (Lower Sackville, NS) in the semifinals of the 2019 Nova Scotia Scotties in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia;
 
Arsenault finished 4-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Arsenault defeated Theresa Breen (Hallifax, NS) 8-3, then won 7-4 against Brothers. Arsenault went on to lose 8-4 against Julie McEvoy (Halifax, NS). Arsenault responded with a 8-7 win over Tanya Hilliard (Dartmouth, NS). Arsenault went on to lose 9-7 against Mary Myketyn-Driscoll (Halifax, NS). Arsenault responded with a 9-8 win over MacDiarmid. Arsenault went on to lose 6-5 against Colleen Jones (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Nova Scotia Scotties, Arsenault take home 9.900 world rankings points. For week 24 of the event schedule, Arsenault did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Arsenault ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
