Brothers finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brothers defeated Tanya Hilliard (Dartmouth, NS) 9-5, then went on to lose 7-4 against Arsenault. Brothers responded with a 8-7 win over Kristen MacDiarmid (Lower Sackville, NS). Brothers won 5-3 against Theresa Breen (Hallifax, NS), then won 5-2 against Colleen Jones (Halifax, NS). Brothers went on to lose 6-5 against Julie McEvoy (Halifax, NS). Brothers responded with a 7-6 win over Mary Myketyn-Driscoll (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Nova Scotia Scotties Championship title, Brothers earned 13.500 world rankings points. For week 24 of the event schedule, Brothers did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Brothers ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
