MacDiarmid went on to lose 8-7 against Jill Brothers (Halifax, NS). MacDiarmid responded with a 8-6 win over Colleen Jones (Halifax, NS). MacDiarmid won 9-5 against Theresa Breen (Hallifax, NS). MacDiarmid went on to lose 9-8 against Arsenault. MacDiarmid lost 7-5 to Tanya Hilliard (Dartmouth, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

MacDiarmid earned 7.650 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Nova Scotia Scotties. For week 24 of the event schedule, MacDiarmid did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. MacDiarmid ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
