Rowsell responded with a 6-2 win over Peddigrew. Rowsell won 7-4 against Symonds, then won 9-7 against Skanes in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Newfoundland & Labrador Tankard, Rowsell take home 2.475 world rankings points.
