MacDiarmid lost 8-3 to Callum Kinnear (Perth, SCO). MacDiarmid lost 8-2 to Ross Whyte (Dumfries, SCO). MacDiarmid lost 10-2 to Angus Bryce (Kelso, SCO) where MacDiarmid responded with a 8-4 win over Orrin Carson (Dumfries, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
