Fraser Morton (Dumfries, SCO) finished 2-5 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Morton lost 10-2 to Euan MacDiarmid (Forfar, SCO), droppimg another game, 8-2 to Callum Kinnear (Perth, SCO). Morton lost 9-3 to Angus Bryce (Kelso, SCO). Morton lost 8-6 to Blair Haswell (Stranraer, SCO) where Morton responded with a 11-3 win over Orrin Carson (Dumfries, SCO). Morton won 8-7 against Hamish Gallacher (Dumfries, SCO). Morton went on to lose 8-1 against Ross Whyte (Dumfries, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Morton earned 1.603 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Morton did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Morton ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
