In their opening game, Pulli defeated Kyle Foster (Plainfield, NJ) 9-6, then won 7-5 against Murray Jackson (Durham, NC) and 9-2 against Nicholas Visnich (Charlotte, NC). Pulli went on to lose 5-2 against Bryan Fink (Wayland, MA). Pulli responded with a 6-5 win over Melvin Shaw (Potomac, MD) in their final qualifying round match.
