To advance to the championship game, Friesen won 4-2 over Hayley Bergman (Morris, MB) in the semifinals of the 2019 Morris MJCT Womens Spiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada;
 
Friesen finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Friesen defeated Grace Beaudry (Winnipeg, MB) 1-0, then won 8-3 against Morgan Klassen (Winkler, MB) and 6-4 against Cassandra Stobbe (Winnipeg, MB). Friesen went on to lose 8-1 against Arah Davies (Winnipeg, MB). Friesen responded with a 4-2 win over Bergman in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 1 of the event schedule, Friesen did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Friesen ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
