Brett Walter (Winnipeg, MB) won 5-3 over Jack Hykaway (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Morris MJCT Mens Spiel, held March 22 - 24, 2019 at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Walter won 7-6 over Ryan Wiebe (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals

Walter finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Walter lost 5-2 to Hykaway, then responded with a 8-6 win over Joshua Friesen (Morris, MB). Walter won 5-1 against Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB), then won 7-6 against Wiebe in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 1 of the event schedule, Walter did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Walter ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
