Daniel Magnusson (Karlstad, SWE) lost 6-5 to Daniel Berggren (Sveg, SWE) in the Final of the Swedish Junior Championships, held December 6 - 9, 2018 in Ostersund, Sweden. To advance to the championship game, Magnusson won 6-4 over Ludvig Koehn (Gavle, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2019 Swedish Junior Championships in Ostersund, Sweden;

Magnusson finished 3-2 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Magnusson defeated Noa Stenalv (Harnosand, SWE) 9-2, then won 7-3 against Berggren. Magnusson went on to lose 4-3 against Koehn. Magnusson lost 4-3 to Johan Engqvist (Harnosand, SWE) where Magnusson responded with a 7-3 win over Axel Landelius (Mjolby, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Swedish Junior Championships, Magnusson take home 2.475 world rankings points. For week 17 of the event schedule, Magnusson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Magnusson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
