Nicolas Oake (St. Albert, AB) run at the 2019 AJCT Players' Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 5-4 loss to Ryan Parent (Calgary, AB).

Oake went on to lose 7-4 against Desmond Young (Airdrie, AB). Oake responded with a 11-2 win over Jared Palanuik (Black Diamond, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
