In their opening game, Fenech defeated Nicholas Bissonnette (Ottawa, ON) 8-7, then won 7-2 against Andrew Stopera (Chaska, USA) and 7-5 against Chase Sinnett (Chaska, USA). Fenech went on to lose 6-4 against Ontario's Greg Inglis. Fenech lost 8-1 to Sam Mooibroek (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
