Jill Brothers (Halifax, NS) lost 6-3 to Mary-Anne Arsenault (Dartmouth, NS) in the Final of the The Curling Store Cashspiel, held September 27 - 29, 2019 at the Lakeshore Curling Club in Lower Sackville, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Brothers won 4-3 over Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI) in the semifinals   
 
Brothers finished 3-1 in the 11-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brothers lost 7-3 to Mary Myketyn-Driscoll (Halifax, NS), then responded with a 7-4 win over Nova Scotia's Krista Flanagan. Brothers won 9-1 against Prince Edward Island's Melissa Morrow, then won 6-2 against Colleen Jones (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the The Curling Store Cashspiel, Brothers take home 14.647 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 54th place overall with 79.721 total points. Brothers ranks 48th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.647 points earned so far this season.
