Matt Dunstone (Regina , SK) won 8-5 over Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) in the Final of the Masters, held October 22 - 27, 2019 in North Bay, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Dunstone won 5-4 over Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2019 Masters in North Bay, Ontario; and won 5-2 over Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Masters in North Bay, Ontario;
 
Dunstone finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dunstone defeated Gushue 5-4, then won 7-2 against Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) and 5-4 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). Dunstone went on to lose 6-5 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Masters Championship title, Dunstone earned 90.791 world rankings points along with the $35,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 10th place overall with 389.642 total points. Dunstone ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 160.745 points earned so far this season.
