John Shuster (Duluth, USA) qualified for the 2019 Kioti Tractor Tour Challenge Tier 1 playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-1 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB). of the 2019 Kioti Tractor Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Pictou County, Nova Scotia;

Shuster finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shuster defeated Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO) 7-5, then went on to lose 6-4 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). Shuster responded with a 9-3 win over Peter De Cruz (Geneva, SUI). Shuster won 6-3 against Koe in their final qualifying round match.
