Min Ji Kim (Chuncheon, KOR) won 9-2 over Jestyn Murphy (Mississauga, ON) in the Final of the Kioti Tractor Tour Challenge Tier 2, held November 5 - 10, 2019 in Pictou County, Nova Scotia. To advance to the championship game, Kim won 7-2 over Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2019 Kioti Tractor Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Pictou County, Nova Scotia; and won 5-4 over Megan Balsdon (Woodstock, ON) in the quarterfinals.
 
Kim finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim defeated Andrea Crawford (Fredericton, NB) 8-3, then won 7-1 against Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER). Kim went on to lose 5-2 against Hollie Duncan (Toronto , ON). Kim responded with a 6-3 win over Laura Walker (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Kioti Tractor Tour Challenge Tier 2 Championship title, Kim earned 45.281 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 18th place overall with 227.452 total points. Kim ranks 23rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 98.356 points earned so far this season.
