Rich Ruohonen (Minneapolis, USA) qualified for the 2019 Kioti Tractor Tour Challenge Tier 2 playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Tanner Horgan (Winnipeg Beach, MB).

Ruohonen finished 2-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ruohonen lost 5-4 to Jamie Murphy (Halifax, NS), then responded with a 6-5 win over Korey Dropkin (Chaska, USA).
