Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED) qualified for the 2019 Kioti Tractor Tour Challenge Tier 2 playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-6 against Kirk Muyres (Saskatoon, SK). of the 2019 Kioti Tractor Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Pictou County, Nova Scotia;

van Dorp finished 2-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, van Dorp lost 8-3 to Michael Fournier (Montreal, QC), droppimg another game, 8-6 to Cameron Bryce (Stirling, SCO) where van Dorp responded with a 6-5 win over Muyres. van Dorp won 7-4 against Greg Smith (St. John's , NL) in their final qualifying round match.

van Dorp earned 18.900 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Kioti Tractor Tour Challenge Tier 2, remaining in 26th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 14.212 after improving upon their best so far this season. van Dorp ranks 24th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 91.265 points earned so far this season.
