Wuest finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wuest lost 5-1 to Anna Kubeskova (Prague, CZE), then responded with a 5-4 win over Triin Madisson (Tallinn, EST). Wuest won 8-3 against Maggie Wilson (Stirling, SCO), then won 9-2 against Lithuania's Asta Vaicekonyte and 6-4 against Marta Pluta (Gliwice, POL) in their final qualifying round match.
